From Ipanema Coffee’s Alma di Monti (2022/2023) season, their Premier Cru collection is the very best of the best from their overall harvests, quality assessed into Black, Gold and Blue (the very highest level) categories. This superb Blue Edition coffee lot (“A41 Wine”) is sourced from their Rio Verde farm in the Serra da Mantiqueira region and our very final presentation from their Alma di Monti harvest.
We love these Premier Cru coffees from Ipanema as they elevate Brazil specialty coffee beyond our usual expectations. With more nuanced acidity, and clean, sweet and fruity flavours often delivered in the cup, each particular batch has a personality of its own. But they’re also very drinkable too, and versatile enough to suit espresso and soft brew techniques.
