The SCA (Specialty Coffee Association) Intermediate Barista Skills qualification is internationally recognised and can be used to build towards the overall SCA Coffee Diploma. It is the second of the SCA barista qualifications (Foundation, Intermediate and Professional) and intended for baristas with some prior experience - ideally those who already hold SCA Foundation Barista skills Foundation certificate.

The course lasts two days, covering all the key skills required by the qualification, which can be taken in the final afternoon of the two days should you wish There is an additional cost from the SCA for administering the exam of €125 for members or €205 for non-members.

(Notes on disabled access: Our mill has no steps to access it and has flat floor surface throughout the training area, as well as parking outside on the same level. The espresso machines are set on counters at approx 9050mm height, although we can make accommodations for a lower set machine if required, with prior warning. We have two disabled toilets.
