coffee details

This is a beautifully processed Sidra arabica from Brayan Smith and his Satus farm in Pitalito, Huila. The “EF2” natural process was pioneered by Felipe Arcila at Cofinet’s La Pradera farm and involves a 24 hour aerobic fermentation of the coffee cherries followed by 50 hours anaerobic, before sun-drying on raised beds.

Brayan is not only a third generation coffee producer of his own farm, but also formed the associative group ‘ASOSATUS’, dedicated to producing, processing and marketing the best coffees from the Huila region. This involves the collaboration of 50 producer families from Palestine, Brussels, Acevedo, San Adolfo and other villages near Pitalito.
