A pioneer in the Honduran coffee industry, Delmy created AMPROCAL, a women’s coffee cooperative; she’s been president for IWCA (International Women’s Coffee Alliance) in Honduras; part owns Finca Liquidambar; and runs her own farm - Finca La Fortuna. The farm itself is fourth generation, handed down to 10 siblings from her father.
We’ve known Delmy for many years and Leon was very lucky to visit her in March 2024! He visited La Fortuna, Liquidambar, AMPROCAL & COCAFELOL co-ops in Ocotepeque. This is our fourth season of buying a range of Delmy’s coffees, including this washed Parainema arabica (a tasty varietal that performs particularly well in Honduras.)
