About Moonraker
We are proud to be supporting this year’s festival now in its 40th year, this is an integral part of the Colne Valley cultural heritage, which brings together the community in and around Slaithwaite village.
To celebrate this occasion, we have collaborated on a special one-off Moonraker coffee, which you can drink at your leisure in selected outlets or pick up a bag to enjoy at home!
£1 from every bag goes to support the Moonraking festival.

How to brew
As an espresso, we would probably start with a reasonably high dose (18g, but whatever suits your machine best), and work on a 1:2.5 ratio, making a balanced espresso weighing about 45g. Shoot it shorter if you prefer a richer body and more intense acidity. For filter, we recommend using 60g per litre of water. It’s the industry standard for a reason, delivering a rich balanced flavour with most coffees.
Tasting notes
Drunk by smugglers, who enjoyed their coffee not quite as light as the moon, but not as dark as the midnight sky.
