THE PRODUCER

Located in the picturesque Manjarabad coffee region, Harley is owned and run by third generation coffee grower DM Purnesh and family. The farm and its processing mill are simply stunning, with lake, waterfall, dense vegetation and eco lodges – created from derelict farm buildings - scattered in amongst.

FIELD

FAMILIAR FLAVOURS.
CAREFULLY CURATED

Harley Estate is primarily known for its specialty robusta production, but here they hand select their finest arabica cherries, pulp and dry the coffee in its sticky mucilage (the “red honey”) on raised beds. This lends the coffee deep sweetness and syrupy body.

* Purchase the Arabica and the Robusta as a duo (2 x 250g) for £25 *

Please note we only hold limited stock of these products, but we aim to roast at least two times a week (T&Cs apply)

How to brew

We normally lean toward filter brewing for the producer series as the method highlights the more complex and delicate flavours in lighter roasted coffee. As always, we default to the industry standard of 60g of coffee per litre of water as a starting point.

For espresso try a 1:2.5 brew ratio and shot times of around 24-30 seconds.

Tasting notes

Golden syrup swirls. Velvet body, cocoa kiss. Silk in every drop
