Located in the picturesque Manjarabad coffee region, Harley is owned and run by third generation coffee grower DM Purnesh and family. The farm and its processing mill are simply stunning, with lake, waterfall, dense vegetation and eco lodges – created from derelict farm buildings - scattered in amongst.

The team at Harley have been experimenting with their robusta coffee, using a variety of modern processing styles. This beautiful “4N” micro-lot introduces an anaerobic fermentation to the coffee cherries, then slow-drying, for a fruity, nutty cup.

How to brew
We normally lean toward filter brewing for the producer series as the method highlights the more complex and delicate flavours in lighter roasted coffee. As always, we default to the industry standard of 60g of coffee per litre of water as a starting point.
For espresso try a 1:2.5 brew ratio and shot times of around 24-30 seconds.
